Mutually Alone - Part 2
Updated: May 8
During the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, I went around to all of my friends in Nashville before we went into a stay-at-home order. I figured it would be the last time I would get to see them in person for a while and wanted to capture it. This is part 2 of my blog series about the images. If you want to read the earlier post, click here. These are just a small selection of the images I captured!
I met Sarah Saturday early on in my Nashville experience. It was over a year before I moved here actually. When my band at the time (Those Manic Seas) was touring, we needed a local Nashville band to open for. Sarah (Gardening, Not Architecture) was gracious enough to welcome us for a show at The Basement. Over the years our paths have crossed occasionally and I still thoroughly enjoy seeing her perform live!
Robyn (and Erin) came into my life through Ben (who was in Part 1). Robyn Henderson-Espinoza is a beautiful person who is full of wisdom and the desire to help everyone. I was lucky enough to produce and record their audio-book and have since started doing the same with their weekly podcast!
Jess Nolan and Ross McReynolds are two very talented Nashville musicians. I was lucky enough to meet them both through my other good musician friend, Lydia Luce. Jess is a very talented singer/songwriter who you should very much go listen to right now. Ross is a talented and versatile drummer (I should know, being a drummer myself) that I'm sure is available for sessions right now! Do yourself a favor and listen to the beautiful music these two people have helped create!
